Skinwalker Ranch – The Theories
Now for my favorite section! The theories on why Skinwalker Ranch is such an odd place.
There are, of course, as many theories as there are people interested in this amazing place. Below you’ll find the most commonly believed theories out there.
Curse of the Skinwalker
Skinwalker Ranch received its name from a local legend which also counts as one of the theories on why the land is so strange. There are two local indigenous tribes that have inhabited that land: The Utes and The Navajo. This, of course, led to times of hostility between the tribes.
In the Navajo belief system, there is a creature known as The Skinwalker. In very basic terms it is a person who has gone against the positive aspects of the culture and turned into a pure evil, unhuman being.
The Utes claim that during one of the times of turbulence between the tribes, the Navajos set a couple of Skinwalkers loose on the land to curse it against them. Of course, the Navajo’s deny this. By their own belief systems, Skinwalkers are not creatures you mess with, let alone use to attack others.
But the theory persists.
Perhaps Skinwalkers really were let loose on the land and have lived there an caused all these disturbances since.
It’s Aliens!
At least that’s what some people think. With the sightings of ufos and the strange portals that the various teams have found, it has been suggested that it is all the fault of an interdimensional highway. This could explain the UFOs, portals, orbs, cattle mutilations, equipment issues, radiation and random short-lived magnetism.
Of course, there has been some evidence to suggest something large and metallic is buried under the ranch. Plus, old stories of people who witnessed UFOs diving into and out of a large body of water on the land. These things have led to a theory that aliens have a ship or some kind of underground facility buried under the ranch that is still actively visited by our outer space friend.
Natural Causes
Who doesn’t love a good hallucination? That’s where this theory goes. Because of the high and random levels of dangerous radiation and electromagnetic fields it is believed that some or all these experiences are just hallucinations brought on by exposure. However, with the video and technological evidence that is supporting these strange events, I personally find this theory to be debunked.
Attention Seekers
Another theory for the ranch is that all of it has been made up by people looking for attention. Who? The Shermans, of course. This theory has been put out there because no one before the Sherman’s reported any mysteries happenings on the ranch. When you add that to the fact that they were part of so many of the experiences, it is easy to see why some people would believe this. Then from there the ranch was bought by two men who have pushed it even further into the spotlight: Bigelow and Brandon. Is it a plausible theory? Technically they all are. But boy does this one ruin the fun…
Angie's Theory
Then there’s my theory.
To explain it I must first explain a few things Spirit has shared with me and other psychics like me.
For starters, our world and the spiritual realm are not the same. The spiritual realm is filled with a limitless number of other worlds with spiritual beings in every shape and size, or in some cases lack thereof. These beings aren’t held down by the same physical limitations we are. They do visit our world and do so in many different forms. Sometimes physical like us, sometimes not.
Secondly there are portals or doorways between our world and the spiritual realm placed all over our world. Most of these portals are short lived and created by the beings to pop back and forth quickly. Those tend to dissipate and disappear over time. But occasionally you find larger portals that are permanent. Around these portals you almost always get strange stories like those on Skinwalker Ranch.
So it’s my belief that there is a permanent and extremely large portal to the spiritual realm on or near Skinwalker Ranch.
