Upright Meaning
Keywords:
Illusion – Intuition – Secrets – Confusion – Uncertainty – Dreams – Deception Insecurity
As a Person:
As a person, The Moon is someone who is secretive and deep. They live in their dreams and often forget to join the rest of us in reality. They tend to live lives full of confusion and insecurity and are often second guessing the intentions of others. Though in all reality they second guess everything in life. Situations, other people and even their own thoughts and opinions. They live with a belief that it is better to be safe than sorry. Even though their intuition is their strongest asset, they are too busy questioning themselves to see it. Even when others can see it clearly.
As a Situation/Experience:
The Moon represents a time when nothing feels certain. It’s like there is a cloth over the truth and though you want to remove that and get a clearer picture it is constantly evading you. This leaves you feeling insecure and questioning everything about the experience. Yourself and your actions. Others and their actions. The reasoning for the situation and beyond. But all you have managed to do is get your mind in a tangled knot of unanswerable questions.
As Advice:
As advice, The Moon is here to tell us it is time to go deep within yourself and seriously face the darker aspects of your own behaviors. Your intuition is running high right now and it is in the perfect place to lead you to the truths you seek. But you must be willing to see through the uncertainty, even if it means facing things you might not like. For it is only when we face those parts of ourselves that we don’t currently understand that we truly grow. It is time to see past the lies you have been telling yourself and deal with your downfalls. By pruning these away you will soon be able to thrive once more!

As a Person:
As a person, The Moon reversed represents someone who is coming out of a time of deep confusion. They have made it through the worst and while they still feel they have a way to go, life is balancing once again. Their anxiety is clearing up and the world is beginning to make sense again. They are feeling like they can breathe again after holding their breath for so long. They did not make this shift back into clarity easily. They have hit rock bottom, taken a long look at themselves, picked up the leftover pieces and put themselves back together again.
As a Situation/Experience:
The Moon reversed is a time when the delusions of the past are being overcome. You have taken the first steps of overcoming your own self-deception and fear. Clarity is taking hold and the future is beginning to look bright again. This is a very freeing and expansive time.
As Advice:
The Moon reversed reminds us that it is time we face our fears and anxiety and take control of our own lives. You have been deceiving yourself. Believing that the situation couldn’t be understood because you weren’t willing to face the darkness that you fear resides within you. But now is the time to face those parts of you. Now is the time to regain your balance and remember that your fear is not who you are but a result of your current belief system. Own it, face it and you will come out the other side much better off than where you started.
